Book Direct

Why book direct

No platform fees

You book direct with the villa team. There are no marketplace markups or service fees layered on top of the nightly rate.

Verified before you commit

We confirm availability, rates, taxes and minimum stays by hand before presenting options, rather than quoting from a stale listing.

We know the houses

Layout, service level, beach access and which villas genuinely suit large groups. We match the house to the trip instead of listing everything.

Concierge through check-out

Transfers, provisioning, chef preferences and arrival logistics are arranged before you land, and we stay reachable during the stay.

About

About our villas

Republic Villa Rentals specialises in private luxury villa rentals across the Dominican Republic, with a curated portfolio spanning Casa de Campo, Punta Cana and Cap Cana. Every home is booked direct with the villa team — no platform fees, no marketplace markups.

Our villas range from four-bedroom beachfront homes to fifteen-bedroom private estates, most with resident staff, private pools and the space that makes a villa worth choosing over a hotel. Many include housekeeping and full staff; chef service, transfers, provisioning and golf arrangements can be added on request.

Because Dominican villas vary widely in service level, access and seasonal rules, we verify the practical details — availability, rates, taxes, minimum stays and what is genuinely included — before presenting a shortlist. Tell us your dates, group size and priorities, and we will identify the homes that realistically fit.

Destination Guide

Your guide to the Dominican Republic

Why Visit the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic offers something most Caribbean islands cannot: genuine scale. It is a large, varied country with real mountains, working towns and some of the longest stretches of protected sand in the region — not a single resort strip.

For villa guests specifically, the appeal is space and staffing. Dominican villas are typically large private homes with resident staff, so a multigenerational family or a group of friends can take one house rather than splitting across hotel rooms. Add a private chef, a golf cart and beach club access, and the villa becomes the trip rather than just the accommodation.

Where to Stay

Choosing the right destination matters as much as choosing the villa. A short guide:

  • Casa de Campo – a large private resort community near La Romana, known for golf, privacy and long-established villa estates. Best for golfers and groups who want a gated, residential feel.
  • Punta Cana – the widest choice of beachfront and resort-adjacent villas, with the most direct flights and the easiest logistics. Best for first visits and mixed groups.
  • Cap Cana – a gated marina and beach enclave next to Punta Cana, with newer estates and a quieter, more exclusive feel.

If direct beach access is non-negotiable, say so early. It narrows the list quickly.

When to Visit

The dry season runs roughly December to April, and that is when most guests visit: warm days, lower humidity and reliably clear water. It is also the busiest and most expensive window, and the largest villas sell out for Christmas, New Year and Easter often a year in advance.

May and November are the value months — still warm and largely dry, with noticeably better rates and availability.

Atlantic hurricane season runs June through November, with the highest activity from August to October. Storms rarely affect a given week, but it is worth reading the cancellation terms before booking in that window.

Getting There

Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is the main gateway, with direct flights from most major US and Canadian hubs and from Europe. It serves both Punta Cana and Cap Cana, usually within a 20–40 minute drive.

For Casa de Campo, La Romana International Airport (LRM) is far closer — often a short drive from the villa — though it has fewer direct routes. Many guests still fly into PUJ and transfer by road, which takes roughly an hour.

We arrange private transfers for arriving guests, which is the simplest option with luggage and children. Gated communities register guest names with security in advance, so send us your full guest list before you travel.

Common Questions

Villa rental FAQs

How many bedrooms do your Dominican Republic villas have?

Our current portfolio runs from four to fifteen bedrooms, with most homes in the five to eight bedroom range. Use the bedroom filter to see what is available at your size, and remember the filter shows minimums, so selecting six also returns larger houses.

Are chef and staff included in the villa rate?

It varies by villa. Many Dominican villas include housekeeping and full resident staff in the rate, while chef service may be included, optional or quoted separately. We confirm exactly what is included and what is on request before you book.

Which destination should we choose?

Casa de Campo suits golfers and groups wanting a private, residential resort community. Punta Cana offers the widest villa choice and the easiest flights. Cap Cana is a gated marina and beach enclave with newer estates and a quieter feel. Tell us how you want the trip to feel and we will match the destination.

When is the best time to visit?

December through April is the dry, high season with the most reliable weather, and the largest villas sell out for Christmas, New Year and Easter well in advance. May and November offer similar conditions at noticeably better value. Hurricane season runs June through November, peaking August to October.

Which airport should we fly into?

Punta Cana International (PUJ) is the main gateway and serves both Punta Cana and Cap Cana. La Romana International (LRM) is closest to Casa de Campo but has fewer direct routes, so many Casa de Campo guests fly into PUJ and transfer by road, roughly an hour. We arrange private transfers either way.

Do you charge booking or platform fees?

No. You book direct with the villa team, so there are no marketplace markups or platform service fees added to your rate.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as possible for holidays, Easter and large groups, where the best villas are often reserved a year ahead. For shoulder-season travel a few months is usually sufficient, and flexible dates always widen the options we can offer.
